Offensive line -- B. Much better run blocking but Rivers is hurried too much.

Defensive line -- B-plus. Please. Why does Jamal Williams come out when it's third-and-short? Please?

Linebackers -- A. Phillips and Cooper (two picks) have big nights.

Secondary -- B. But you must know somebody on your block who can play tight end and get open against these guys.

Special teams -- F. The worst thing that can happen in Football is allowing a long kickoff return prior to the half.

Coaching -- A. Norv can beat up on the franchise that beat up on him.

Qualcomm Stadium turf -- F. It looks like they rehearsed the stampede scene from "How the West Was Won" through the middle of it.

Stadium music & PA -- F-minus. Hard to believe, but music's getting worse. Chargers (they only wish they were ) are referred to as the Toreros.
